Mary Majumder, JD, PHD

Mary Majumder, JD, PhD, is a Professor in the Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine. Her research interests include the ethical and social implications of new genomic technologies and ethical and policy questions related to problems of cost, quality, and access in health care. She also remains interested in the intersection of religion and spirituality and biomedical ethics. She received her AB in Russian from Bryn Mawr College, herJD from Yale Law School, her PhD in religious studies with a specialization in biomedical ethics from Rice University, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
